• Read and accept the SDMHA Refund Policy

  • Athletes who played with South Delta in the past, however, did not participate last season (2025-2026) are considered NEW athletes and must submit a new player registration package including up to date residency documents.

    1. Register on a computer (not a phone or tablet). Internet Explorer is not compatible. TeamSnap recommends using Chrome.

    2. You will need your players Hockey Canada ID. If it doesn't automatically populate (it should), you can search your email for 'orderreceipt.pdf' to locate old Hockey Canada registration receipts that will have your ID on it or you can look on your player profile in TeamSnap on your team from last season. Most Hockey Canada IDs start with 150000 OR 202157*******.

  • 1: E-TRANSFER (full amount due in full if you choose this option): If you choose to pay by e-transfer, send your payment IN FULL to finance@southdeltahockey.com . Please also ensure that you type your players first and last names in the memo field of your e-transfer. Payment by e-transfer must be done in full and payment is due within 5 days of your online registration.

2: CREDIT CARD INSTALLMENTS OR IN FULL: If you select to pay by credit card online, you have the option to pay in full or installments ($200 on date of registration and the remainder split equally among September 1st and October 15th.

    3. Fees MUST be paid in full on due dates. No exceptions.

  • In order to more effectively track and manage U15 and U18 age players that are attending BC Hockey or Junior team tryouts, we have instituted a U15 and a U18 Tryout Hold Fee.

This $50 non-refundable fee, replaces the $200 tryout fee required to hold your spot in a rep tryout. Players that are trying out or have a commitment to a BC Hockey team or Junior team, but would like to keep their options open at South Delta, are required to register and pay this fee.

Players are then expected to attend a minimum of one tryout skate at South Delta in the fall.

    * Reminder – this process does not guarantee that the player has earned a spot on a South Delta rep team.

If the player is released from their other tryout commitment prior to the start of South Delta tryouts they are expected to attend the full South Delta tryout process and pay the full $200 rep tryout fee at that point.

  • Rep Tryouts are optional. If you declare your intent to try out by registering, the $200 tryout fee is fully refundable up to one week prior to the start of tryouts each season. Cancellations received less than one week before the start of tryouts are non-refundable.

International Students are not eligible to tryout for Rep hockey.

Rep tryouts will typically commence in late August and continue throughout the first couple weeks of September.

  • Team Fees are not included in registration fees. Teams collect funds from each family to cover additional costs for tournaments, socks, wind-up party, trophies, additional ice, coaches gifts, additional skill training, etc. Fees can range from $200 - $3000 per season depending on your child's team and division. U7-U9 and U11-U18 Recreational C teams can expect lower team fees, where rep teams can expect fees between $2000-$3000.

  • Funding opportunities for low-income families are available through KidSport, JumpStart, and the Hockey Canada Assist Fund.

  • Returning Player Registration Now Open – 2026–2027 Season

Please review our registration policies and important updates for the 2026–2027 season.

    Registration Information

Registration for returning players is open on May 15 at 5pm, and new player registration will open June 1. We encourage families to register early, as space is limited and once a division reaches capacity, players will be placed on a waitlist.  We have lost some ice allocation this season and as a result our registration is limited.

    • Rep teams will be declared based on registration numbers as of June 30, 2026. Players may still register after June 30; however, the number of rep teams will not be increased after this deadline.

    • Registration fees for the 2026–2027 season have increased due to rising operational costs which include an ice rate increase from the City of Delta, PCAHA and BC Hockey fees.

    New Registration Policies for 2026–2027

    Jersey Deposit
A mandatory $150 jersey deposit will be included with each player’s registration. A full refund will be issued once both jerseys are returned in good condition. If either jersey is returned damaged, a charge of $75 per damaged jersey will be deducted from the deposit.

    Volunteer Deposit
As part of the SDMHA Volunteer Policy, all families are required to complete 5 hours of volunteer service during the 2026–2027 season. Volunteer hours must be completed by March 15, 2027.

A $200 Parent Participation Fee will be added to each player’s registration. Families who complete their required volunteer hours will receive a full refund at the end of the season.
