REGISTRATION FOR NEW PLAYERS

Registration for New South Delta Minor Hockey Players OPENS MAY 3rd, 2021.

We recognize that it’s a challenging and uncertain time for everyone and we are continuing to monitor COVID-19 developments. SDMHA will continue to monitor conditions and follow all recommendations and guidelines from government agencies and our facilities partners. To the extent that any of this affects the regular hockey season, we will advise all registrants and prepare for prorated fees and/or refunds of payments collected.

NEW Minor Hockey players register in steps:

1) Please provide the following:

  • Player Registration form completed and signed by parent and player (only Atom and above players need to sign)

    PCAHA PLAYER REGISTRATION FORM

  • A copy of the player’s Passport or Birth Certificate
  • 2 x proof of residency in South Delta. Accepted are a utility bill (cable, Hydro, Fortis) or Delta Property Tax notice (phone bills are not sufficient)
  • Please note you MUST send the ENTIRE first page of the bills required above

Due to Covid-19 we are not able to accept documents at the Ladner Leisure Centre.

2)  Once complete documentation has been received the player will be issued a Hockey Canada ID # which is good for life. You will be sent the Hockey ID # and instructions via email.

3) Complete the registration process on-line.

Note Early Bird discount is applicable until June 30th.  Payment must be received in full by June 30th, 2021.

Registration & Payment Policies for the 2021-2022 Season

We are following the same registration protocols for the 2021-22 season given the current situation with Covid-19:

• Returning & new player registration for the 2021-22 Season will open on May 3rd.
• Extended deadline for early-bird registration
• Register on or before June 30th and you will receive the early-bird rate.
• You will also have the option to pay by credit card installments - $200 at time of registration (per player) and the remainder split equally among August 15th & September 15th.
• If you choose to register after June 30th you will be subject to a $50 increase in registration fees per player and will not have an option to pay by credit card installments.
• Payments can also be made by E-transfer; however this option does not allow for installment payments.
• The payment deadline for E-transfer payments to receive the early-bird deadline is June 30th.
• E-transfer payments can be sent to finance@southdeltahockey.com

***Registration fees will be fully refundable if the season is cancelled.  If the season is delayed we will push back the dates for installment payments and notify the membership.  Credit card processing fees are fully refundable if a full refund is processed.  If a partial refund is processed at anytime during the season, then the processing fees are not fully refundable.

Please note that our payment plan offered in previous seasons is not available as we move over to the new Team Snap platform. Apply for Financial Assistance

KidSport Delta assists individual athletes whose financial opportunities are limited. KidSport offers grants to children who need assistance with the funds required to cover their sports registration fees. KidSport believes no child should have to sit on the sidelines if they really want to play. Parents who require assistance must fill out an application and submit it directly to KidSport and notify our administrator. SDMHA encourages donations to this organization.

Criteria for Jumpstart assistance includes the following

  • Child must be between the ages of 4 and 18
  • Funding must be for a program involving sport or physical activity
  • Your family must be in financial need as defined by Government guidelines

  • Party in Da House fee
