Did your team win a Banner?
For any team that won a PCAHA or BCAHA banner this season (we do not reimburse for tournament banners) if you want to get the banner embroidered with all the team and coaches names you have a $75.00 allowance from the Association. Anything over that and the team would have to pay. If you decide this is something the team would like to do--- your team does it. Then submit your bill to sdmha@telus.net for reimbursement.
In the past the Association has used any of the following...
1. EmbroidMe at 3102 Oak Street in Vancouver (around Oak and W 16th). 604-742-1389 email: showroom@howtogetnoticed.ca www.howtogetnoticed.ca
2. Sundance Embroidery located in Ladner. Phyllis 604-946-4288
3.Options Embroidery in Tsawwassen. Sandra 604-220-7864 options_embroidery@hotmail.com
Once you are "done with" the banner you can drop it off to the LLC mail slot (yes, they do fit through). We are asking for all banners to be returned before our AGM on May 27th. These banners will be on display at that time and then taken to LLC for hanging over the summer by the Corporation Staff.

We would like your feedback please.
Over the next few weeks SDMHA Executive will be soliciting feedback as to our membership perspectives, thoughts and ideas on player development, skills testing and assessment, as well as coach mentoring and development. We will be asking respective VPs and Division Managers to hold feedback sessions at their convenience. Members can also provide feedback through emails (sdmha@telus.net) or letters (drop off to the LLC Hockey office) if they so wish. All feedback must be received by March 15th
A couple of years back, SDMHA recognized the need for a comprehensive player and coach development program. Over the last couple of years we have implemented several changes to help improve the quality of program and enhance the experience for our membership. We would like to understand whether we are meeting our objectives or whether further changes are required. Your open and honest feedback is very important.
South Delta Minor Hockey (SDMHA) is currently accepting applications for the positions of Association Head Coach (1) and individual Rep Team Head Coaches (10).
SDMHA has approximately 800 members playing at the House or the Rep levels. We play out of three Corporation of Delta arenas from late August until the end of March. South Delta is located approximately 35 minutes from downtown Vancouver, 15 minutes from the Peace Arch US border and 5 minutes from the Vancouver Island ferry service. The Association has been offering a minor hockey program within the Hockey Canada format for over 35 years.
