CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK

In keeping with SDMHA & BC Hockey policy, volunteers must undergo a Criminal Records Check (CRC) and a Vulnerable Person's Check every three years.

SDMHA  offers the Province of BC's Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP).  CRRP is a secure system that allows volunteers to complete the application process from home. The completed CRC is emailed directly to SDMHA's risk manager. The results of the on-line CRC is the same as a CRC completed through the Delta Police attachment but expires every three years instead of annually.

As mandated by BC Hockey, all coaches, managers, safety people and volunteers must have a valid CRC by September 1 of the current season.

If you have any questions regarding the CRC please email SDMHA Risk Manager, Scott Emsley, at  risk@southdeltahockey.com

If you are unable to complete the CRC process online, please download the volunteer letter by clicking the link below and take to the Delta Police department.

Criminal Record Checks will be valid for three years from the time of approval. SDMHA reserves the right to ask any volunteer at anytime to complete an online CRC.
