EXECUTIVE POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE 2012-13 SEASON

 Vice President – Rep Hockey

Be in charge of the Atom to Midget Rep Program including:
· Quality & Consistency of Rep programs
· Player retention
· Coach coordination
· Tryout & selection process coordination
· Tiering and Competitiveness
· Player affiliation process

Vice President—Hockey 1-4

· Quality & Consistency of development programs
· Player retention
· Coach coordination
· Player assignment and coordination

Treasurer
.
· Be responsible for keeping of financial records in compliance with the Society Act
· Render financial statements to the directors, members and others when necessary
· Deposits, issuance of cheques and other duties as may be prescribed by the executive

Director at Large

· Schedule and run SDMHA “Picture Day”
· Schedule all Hockey Canada mandated Clinics.
· Be responsible for, and working with the Marketing Director, the Association’s Sponsorship program
· Other appointed duties as assigned by the executive

Registrar (2 positions)

· Be responsible for registering all members with SDMHA
· Be responsible for player registration with HC, BCAHA and PCAHA as required
· Be responsible for Team registration in HCR (Hockey Canada Registry)
· Advise Team Bench Staff as to qualifications needed and corresponding deficiency’s recorded in HCR
· Establish and maintain the HCR to allow for the on-line registration of the various SDMHA extra curricular hockey programs
· Complete all player transfers as required and outlined by both PCAHA, BCAHA and HC

Director of Operations

· Be in charge of Ice Allocation (appointed position)
· Be in charge of Tournaments ( appointed position )
· Be responsible for Equipment Management (2 appointed positions)
· Be responsible for Referee-in-Chief (appointed position)

Appointed Positions that are open include:

(New) Concussion Management Program Coordinator (s)

Existing appointed positions available include:

Ice Allocator, Equipment Manager-2 required, Tournament Director, Referee in Chief, Risk Manager
